“Lovely garden and small beach”

We spent a good few hours walking around this garden and really enjoyed it. Lots of paths to explore, very quite and tranquil. Beautiful views. Good shop and café

Lovely garden with fabulous views. Easy to wander and enjoy the peace and quiet most of the day. Good parking and pleasant refreshments with clean and cheerful facilities.

“Breathtaking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2013

This is a must for all garden lovers. Trebah is simply breathtaking. So much to see. Again, sturdy footwear an absolute must - lots of the paths are very steep and some are uneven. The planting is incredible, especially the giant rhubarb! The beach at the bottom of the garden is so idyllic, and the little refreshment hut a nice idea. However, the lad who served us was very unsure on pricing - 4 drinks and 4 cakes and 3 different prices as he kept changing his mind. Also, the only toilets are in the main entrance area so better to go before you head off down into the gardens because it is a long way back up. The facilities though are very clean and tidy, some of the best we used! The café was less clean by the time we had afternoon tea - not unusable but like they had been very busy with no time to clean up.

“OK but nothing special”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2013

We are glad we visited Trebah but wouldn't return for a 2nd visit.
There was not enough variety of plants to make it interesting. The 3 hours we spent at Trebah were more than enough to slowly walk through the gardens to the small shingle beach and enjoy a refreshing drink available in the shed at the back of the beach.
Worth a visit but don't expect to be impressed.

“lovely gardens”

Lovely gardens in a tranquil setting. Just watch out lots of steps and steep hills to climb. There are motorised wheelchairs available to pre book if required.
