We visited with our 4 year old granddaughter and whilst we thoroughly enjoyed the wondful gardens she thought the Bamboo and Giant Rhubarb was a "jungle" to the point where she ended up ankle dep in mud; great fun. Access to the beach is a bonus and the opportunity to sit and enjoy an ice cream whilst looking at a stunning view made the experience all the more enjoyable.
Very good cafe and gift shop, plus friendly staff and lots of places to just sit and enjoy the views.

My favourite bits of Trebah are the bamboozle and the forest of gunnera (like rhubarb so big you can walk through it) but the swathe of hydrangea is also stunning (although this visit we were too early to see it at its best).

What a fantastic experience. Magical and mysterious dancers performing amidst the lush foliage dressed in white. 100 dancers and performers leading you through the wood and stream, like sirens or forest fairies. The performance was wonderful and therapeutic. the dance heated up by the edge of of the sea with the setting sun casting an orange glow across the sea and rocks. Breathtaking. I didn't want it to end but it did with all the audience participating if they wanted and then dipping in to the refreshing clear blue sea for paddling or swim. I cant wait to see more of this type of event,The gardens were so enchanting, more so at dusk. dancing by cscape
