We found the lifeboat station volunteers very helpful and knowledgeable about the boats on station there. There is an inshore (RIB) boat and a Severn all weather boat, which you can go and have a look at, by going on board. Whilst you were in the station you are shown the equipment that the both crews would use, for the different types of boat. This was the first visit to a lifeboat station for my girlfriend and she enjoyed it. Don't forget all the RNLI crews are volunteers and do a fantastic job.
