Well worth walking the length of this flat well lit promenade to get the feel of your surroundings.Extensive views that afford spectacular scenery at every angle, sometimes dolphins can be seen.Plenyof roadside parking available and a large car park by gyllybeach and Queen Mary gardens if it is summer and busy.

This year in July 2012. We visited Falmouth in Cornwall. It is a very nice little fishing town with lts of history. We found the people there very friendly. There is a maritime museum plus lots to sea along the water front. They also have a castle there by the name of Pendenis castle. Just below the castle there is a nice little place called Pendenis point. It is a quiet area where you can sit and enjoy the views over Falmouth bay. If you go take with you a pair of binoculars, a camera and a note pad to write down your thoughts while you relax in the peaceful surroundings.
Well worth a visit. I'm going back in the spring 2013.

Even out of season it was a real pleasure to walk along this prom, enjoy the beach, watch the ships in the bay and take in big breaths of clean, fresh air.
