You won't find a better location if staying in Falmouth and you will never tire of the view as there is always something happening out on the water. We stayed in an Executive Harbour Facing Room that was very comfortable. It is just a nice walk into the town from the hotel. The only negatives about the place were perhaps the staff could be better managed and the numerous amount of fire doors you go through to get to your room. Having said that the location makes up for all of that and we would stay there again. Breakfast was great.

Room Tip: Car parking is a bit of a problem.

Dear Grant S

Thank you for your review of our hotel, I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed most aspects fully and that you would stay with us again.

I would, however, like to explore the staff comments with you further, if that is possible; in order to ascertain the areas you felt underperformed and perhaps needed more supervision. To that end, an email would be hugely appreciated ben.young@greenbankhotel.co.uk.

Thank you again for your review, and I do hope we will see you again at the Greenbank before too long!

Kind regards

I stayed recently as I was attending a corporate bash in Falmouth. Have stayed before but not since the arrival of a new GM. The staff are mostly still in place (special mention for Tom behind the bar!) but there are subtle changes that are noticeable. menu more accessible, better value, & available all day. Customer service is about attention to detail & the staff make it look effortless( I love it when people remember my name)
The location & the view are simply gorgeous!
Highly reccomended!

Very classy hotel on the harbour wall in Falmouth. Beautifully appointed rooms that have all undergone major renovations during the last 12 months. I have stayed here many times when on business and returned for a pleasure trip. Harbour view rooms are small but you can sit and watch the bustling harbour for hours. Inland rooms are generally much bigger so you take your pick. Food is very good with especially good breakfasts. The view through the panoramic windows in the restaurant must be among the best anywhere but can get very hot on summer mornings. The staff are always very friendly and efficient. Be aware that there are is no Gym or swimming pool if that is important to you. Among the most expensive hotels in the area but having tried most of them, The Greenbank is my clear favourite.

Room Tip: Harbour facing rooms are small

Dear Moorman59

It is wonderful to read that we are your hotel of choice in the area and it is very satisfying to learn that you revisited us for leisure, when your previous visits had been for business - I am delighted that we are delivering on both fronts!

Your comments regarding the staff are very good to hear and I will enjoy sharing them with the team - "friendly and efficient" is great praise - thank you.

We look forward to seeing you again, for business, or indeed for pleasure in the not too distant future.

Kind regards

We were staying up the road and popped in for dinner one night. The staff were warm, helpful and friendly. The meal was gorgeous, very tasty and ideal sized portions, cannot fault them. Unfortunately neither of us could manage a desert only coffee. We also popped into the bar for early evening drinks, sitting in the sun overlooking the water, magical setting, again lovely staff and service. Would recommend.

Dear GrandadandPat

Thank you for your comments regarding our restaurant; we do work hard to deliver food and service which gives justice to our stunning location at the waters edge here in beautiful Falmouth.

I will never tire of feedback, be it of whatever type - as it is through this medium I am best able to enhance and make improvements each and every day.

We do hope you will revisit us again the next time you are in the area, thank you again for your review.
