“Best Hotel in Cornwall”

I have just spent a fantastic week at this amazing hotel, I am not unfamiliar with the Brend Hotel group having stayed at a few of their hotels and i go back because quite frankly, the service is 2nd to none and the food is amazing and the staff are so friendly.
Falmouth is a beautiful part of the world and you can get to pretty much any where from this hotel, Truro being just up the road and Penzance about 20 miles away, and there are lots of great little pubs and restaurants around the area.
This is the place to stay!!

Lovely hotel and well run. Large group of us, which can be hard to fit in for dinner etc but restaurant had table ready for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Staff are what really makes the place that bit special- they really go the extra mile to make sure your stay is that bit special.
The rooms were nice, we had 8 altogether and my twin sea view was absolutely lovely! I would recommend the Armada Suite as we felt it was a nice private area, in which we could all gather. Only slight issue with the rooms was not all of us received the complimentary water bottles and glasses in the room- not fussy about the fancy water but not being able to grab a drink from tap at least was slightly annoying. However, some rooms did receive this and this minute critique in no way impeded my overall view.
The pool area is spectacular and Michelle in the spa in particular was really lovely and definitely worth a visit to her at very reasonable prices!
Food as expected was spot on and despite our gang including young people with fussy food tendencies- there really was something for everyone!

A very enjoyable and relaxing stay!

This was our fifth spring break visit and, once again, we were delighted with the whole experience. The new restaurant is splendid and the food well presented and tasty. It's always good to start the day with a freshly cooked hot breakfast.
Our room was immaculate on arrival and was maintained that way during our stay.
We will be coming again.

Loved everything about this hotel. Well worth the money. We had a sea facing deluxe, number 114 must be the best in the hotel, all in all. Falmouth is nice and the walk to the Castle is worth it. The restaurant was excellent.

Room Tip: Number 114

Just returned from a few days in Falmouth at the RDH within a group. Room extremely comfortable, really clean and smartly presented. Staff very friendly whilst remaining professional at all times. Food tasty and well presented. small 'gripes' were on the first night one of the starters was sparse to say the least - suggest if you do not have enough just say, do not try to divide up into embarrassing portions, again the first night, not enough veg trays presented for the number catered for, and lastly the bitter beer took 2 days to resolve in pulling a palatable pint.
All that said, an extremely presentable hotel in a good sea side location.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms obviously better than inland.

Enjoyed a quick break away, lovely welcome from James the Hotel Porter who was extremely helpful and friendly you got the impression nothing was too much trouble. The reception staff where again extremely welcoming and friendly. Our room had a sea view which when the fog lifted was beautiful! The room was extremely relaxing, enjoyed a walk down to the pool with complimentary bath robes and slippers! Had an enjoyable sauna and swim then an extremely restful moment on superb loungers that heat up when you lie on them! Dinner in a beautiful dining room (I hope this is still beautiful as they are now undergoing refurbishment and we thought it was lovely as it was!) Food was excellent, perhaps small portions but we where extremely happy. The bread was delicious! The service again was excellent.

This was the second time we have visited the Royal Duchy this year and as usual the staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. The food in the restaurant was of the same superb quality and this is why we have been revisiting this superb hotel for 18 years.

Please don't change anything!
