Really enjoyed ourselves. Fantastic cafe, superb access to all floors, great staff. Really liked the real helicopter, and all the exhibits that you can climb in and try on! Will defiantly return if back in falmouth.

An interesting museum -not massive, you can do it in a few hours. The ticket allows you to come back another day which our children wanted to do which is a great sign. They have thought about children and alot of the exhibits are hands on.

“Fun for all”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Not being a man of the sea or with any real interest in boats I was a little unsure of what to expect and how long it would hold my interest. Well I had no worries, the whole place is fascinating and very hands on the layout is very mixed and intense but it definately keeps your attention. The tower has stunning views across the harbour and to top if off the view below sea level is even better. The admission price can seem costly at first but like a lot of attractions your ticket is valid for the year. Well worth a visit.

“Oct 2012 Educational”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Primarily small boats with sufficient information. Th hisotry of certain boats was very interesting and well displayed. There are a few excellent ship models. There are radio control boats for one to operate. The display of the equipment used in maritime resue was excellent, especially to be able to view a helicopter.

“Great value and something for all ages.”

This museum allows re-visits for a year after you have paid one admission price, so that's a huge point in it's favour to begin with. I was very impressed with the open layout of the central gallery, it felt very welcoming and completely un-stuffy. The three children I had with me (aged 5, 7 and 11) all loved the remote control boats (extra charge) and enjoyed climbing in the inflatable life raft and the naval helicopter. The cafe is lovely, and has beautiful views over the harbour in Falmouth. A great place to while away a couple of hours.
