Description: Eight Bar & Kitchen, Falmouth is one of the most popular cocktail bars in Falmouth, Cornwall offering classic and bespoke top quality cocktails plus great beers and spirits. Now serving a relaxed day service with all day brunch, great burgers, deli sandwiches juices and coffee. Then our evening menu has more emphasis on great specials, including seasonal veg, fish, steak combined with great wines and even better cocktails. Food from 10am til 5 & 6 til 10pm in a friendly relaxed atmosphere

The food was very average. Absolutly nothing special and quite bland. The wine that was reccomended to us was awful. I wondered if the waitress that suggested it had ever even tried it. I found the service (when we got it) very invasive and slightly patronising. It was a quiet evening and while we were eating our meal all we could hear was the waitress and the chef talking about people they didn't like and generally having a bit of a moan about what sounded like other people that worked there...very unprofessional, and we felt rather uncomfortable. We actually left and went somewhere else for desert because we felt so awkward. Would certainly not return there or reccommend it to anyone.

This is a great restaurant; cosy and intimate. But the best thing is the service, the staff go out of their way to be friendly and the food is great too!

Went here really late after the cinema. No booking, walked in after 9pm yet were greeted by a really friendly waiter who made us feel completely welcome. Took us through to the cool cocktail bar next door where we had easily the best margaritas in town!
This was followed by a delicious dinner, finishes off the most interesting peanut butter cheesecake. Wonderful!
Looking forward to going back.

While stuck working in the the Falmouth for several months, I visited this little cubby hole with my partner quite few times as she is a Margarita officianardo! After trying them at every establishment in Falmouth (over the period of our stay) this is the only place she will willingly part with money for one! The bar staff are quirky, informative, friendly and will offer advise if asked. Couldn't ask for better in the UK. We had visited several times for after dinner drinks, before we actually had a dinner there and were at once pleasantly surprised at the quality local ingredients, simple preparation and not too expensive price. When the weather is fine there is a great little courtyard out the back. The owner was friendly and inclusive and made us feel right at home.
