Description: Following a sensitive yet spectacular restoration the Chain Locker, on Falmouth’s historic quayside will reopen in early September 2017. The newly renovated interiors will combine stylish and contemporary dining with the original and distinctive charm of the 16th century inn believed to be one of Falmouth’s oldest buildings. The first floor will provide unrivalled waterside views of the bustling key and spectacular natural beauty of Carrick Roads with two fantastic new balconies perfect for dining alfresco. On the ground floor the original bar has been refreshed and brought back to its former glory retaining the ambience that locals and visitors love. Our new menus combine pub classics with enticing specials making the most of the freshest seasonal ingredients. Behind the bar you will find locally brewed beers, west country ciders, fine wines by the glass, classic cocktails and barista coffees. Manager Nathan Boundy and the team look forward to welcoming you!

Ive been here a number of times, it's quite average but the food is good, they serve quite quickly and the view of the harbour is nice. Overall not bad.

I have been coming to Falmouth for over 30 years and on occasion I drop in here for a pint. I was in Cornwall on business and dropped for a couple with my colleagues yesterday. It has still got it after all this time, a meeting place for young and old. Cheers

One of the few pubs in falmouth to have retained any character. Lovely place to sit outside (weather permitting) and watch the sun go down over the harbour. Food is good too.

We have been going to chain locker for a few drinks whenever we get a babysitter for the pass five years its always really friendly really old worldly lots of on tap bitter and beers, but up to a few days ago never eaten here, why I ask myself? With a free afternoon the other day and bits to do in town we popped in for lunch wished we had done it before the food was lovely there was lots of it and was still really hot when it was brought to the table top marks chain locker also not at all over priced, a great place to try when in Falmouth and in the summer you can sit outside and enjoy the views and hopefully the sunshine.
