We have been coming to eat at Cribbs since they opened in 2007. Back then it was just the chef, John, in the kitchen and one waitress. Now John has built it into a flourishing business which has recently opened new premises in the Market Square. Despite the expansion he has never lost sight of what he is trying to achieve - excellent food at reasonable prices. This is a chef who truly understands spices and flavours. He creates a wonderful Caribbean atmosphere with his food and uses the finest local ingredients. We go down to Falmouth for one week a year, and eat out each night. Cribbs is the place we always go to twice. The food, the friendly service and the relaxed atmosphere make it a real gastronomic treat. The Caribbean style lamb shank is the best lamb shank I've ever had, not that we had one this year - John if you are reading this you will know who we are! Can't wait to come and eat in your restaurant next October.
