Having lived in Falmouth for a year, I have been relatively unimpressed with what's on offer; being either seafood or overly priced gastro-grub. However, Amanzi is a wonderful breath of fresh air. The decor is delightful and intriguing, the staff are super friendly and always keen to help you have the best experience even when tired, and the food is an incredible medley of flavours in big portions. A luscious meal and time overall, great value for money and a great cultural adventure, will definitely be coming back. Lovely!

Saw that the restaurant had good reviews so wishing to try African food called in on a Saturday evening albeit not booked. We were not disappointed. Friendly welcome and all the dishes explained and very tasty.
So good we went back the following night and tried others on the menu. The ribs were really filling and tasty and good value.
If you are in Falmouth, this is definitely one to go to.

Visited on the offchance early Sunday evening... the owner, Carolyn, couldn't have been more welcoming. We had peanut soup followed by a roast and curried chicken -- all the dishes were superb... the only downside was not enough room for the lovely sounding sweets. I reccommend the Pineapple Beer as well!

The cost was very reasonable, particularly considering the high quality of the food! If we lived in Falmouth, this would be a regular haunt, as it is we'll surely be back when we visit again.

Wondering through town this Sunday evening when we thought we'd give it a try. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed like a family member, and offered to pick our own table (nice touch) considering we didn't book and it was fairly busy we understood if we had to wait. But nope, we were served the best service I have ever had in Falmouth. Not hurried or anything and who I believe was the owner ( Carolyn )? Was truly impeccable, explained the menu to us, the homemade beers + non alcoholic. We had one starter, and two mains with sides and drinks, would tell you what food but I can't pronounce them, but amazing, good portion sizes and no long wait although you can tell it's all freshly prepared. Then when the bill came we had another surprise.... £40. For the service and food we received I felt UNDERCHARGED! We will be back to try more of the menu and will definitely recommend this to anyone that will listen. It's nice to see the owners taking care of their own business and are so dedicated.
