Description: Lazy lunches. Decadent dinners. Sublime shellfish. Hooked on the Rocks is a quick walk away from the bustle of Falmouth town and is all about beautiful, relaxed and fun dining experiences. We overlook Swanpool Beach, across Falmouth estuary and over to Pendennis Castle and St Anthony's Lighthouse. It's a spectacular setting whatever the weather, and we love to share it with everyone that visits. It's a view that inspires. And it definitely inspires the team down here every day and influences both our menus and our ethos.Hooked on the Rocks is the place for the best Cornish seafood and shellfish. Our chefs focus on the freshest fish, using whatever our fishermen have to offer that day. And we make sure it's sustainable too. We love Cornwall and we love fish and our aim is simple: to serve up great dishes that show off Cornish produce in a relaxed and friendly environment. Our ever-changing platters are a great way to try local shellfish, our crab and lobster tank is an old favourite for crustacean fans, but we always make sure we've got a few steaks on, and vege options too.Hooked on the Rocks is great for a morning coffee in the sun, a long and lazy al fresco lunch, or the perfect way to end a hard day out and about.

Lovely restaurant overlooking the beach and sea. Food nicely prepared and served by a very friendly waitress. Goan fish curry was delicious and beautifully presented. We would certainly return when next in Falmouth.

Great position to just sit with a glass of wine to to fine dine or just have tapas. Love it here. Service a bit slow when they are busy.

Came here with family and friends a few days ago for dinner. We arrived around 7:30 (as my friends had thier daughter with them who had school the next day. It was about 1/2 full, so was a quiet. Wedocile have eaten outdoors, but it was a bit too cool, so we opted to eat inside. Two of our party had Goan shellfish curry, which they thought was delicious. One of us had a Sole (one of the specials) which was also deemed excellent. I had a Sea Trout with various beans, which was also pretty good, but the best dish was the Sea Bream, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had 2 decent bottles of wine as well, and it came to around 150.00. Definitely worth visiting again.

As a dining experience this restaurant is up there amongst the best. As good as Fifteen and much cheaper. The view is second to none although on a dark winters night it would be different but the food would compensate. My wife and I have been on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The only drawback is that the chef concentrates on fish so if you are a carnivore better go to the sister restaurant in Truro. The staff are very attentive without being 'pushy' and appear to have a 'sixth sense' whenever you need something. Four of us had a great meal including a decent bottle of red and soft drinks plus coffee and the total bill was £125 which I considered to be excellent value. You must try it!!
