Booked ages in advance and little wonder, this was the highlight of a girls weekend in Falmouth. Superb seafood, great helpful staff, this place is a real gem

The wife says this review is not necessary as everyone else raves on and on about the gem of a restaurant BUT....... The menu is limited to crab, scallops, prawns and mussels. Wine list has 3 choices. The cooking is simple and unsophisticated. The results are AMAZING. Book and go if you love your seafood fresh and unsullied by cream and other unnecessary embellishments. Waitress was very friendly and even demonstrated the finer points of how to dismember a spider crab (well priced as well!). Only wish we lived nearby instead of 6 hrs away. Sob....

Great food and service. A simple menu that doesn't disappoint. We had scallops, prawns and crab served simply with bread salad and chips. Highly recommended. Need to book a week or two in advance as is only open 4 nights a week. Extremely pleasant staff. Would definitely eat here again next time we are in Falmouth.

I rarely ever leave reviews but feel this little place warrants one. Not wanting to spoil the opportunity of the group going to a seafood restaurant I made the assumption I would be able to get a steak - I couldn't. That said, I'm always willing to try everything and although I don't like seafood I could tell everything was well cooked, fresh and had great flavours. Atmosphere was lovely, staff really friendly, very quirky, we thought the prices were reasonable considering the amount of food and drink we ordered but then we are more adjusted to London prices. About £60 a couple, including a deserved tip. Don't expect menus, staff tell you what is on the menu that day (or you can look on the board on the wall), wine choices: don't expect to choose grapes and locations - red or white is your choice (literally red or white). We booked 3 weeks in advance, out of holiday season and could only get a mid-week reservation. If I was to dig hard for a negative, the only downside is the tables aren't big enough for the amount of dishes and plates you will end up with. If you like seafood, I'd be stunned if you don't love it here.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor before we'd even decided on our accommodation for the family trip to Cornwall, it helped us decide on staying in Falmouth.

We booked about 3 weeks before we were due to stay and could only get a date towards the end of our stay. Rather than putting us off it filled us with confidence.

So we all tripped down the little alley this evening really looking forward to a night of shellfish, simple and fresh. We were in no way disappointed, between the five of us we sampled pretty much everything the menu had to offer; scallops, prawns, mussels (in both Thai and traditional cream sauce), lobster and the most delicious, get-your-hands-dirty brown crab. I'd recommend going for the second sitting, plenty of time to relax and pick through your crab legs....

Service was friendly and intimate, everyone was attentive throughout and stopping in for a chat every now and again. The owner, who sat and chatted with us at the end of the evening was lovely and obviously loves her business and the food she wants to put forward.

We all agreed this is one of the best restaurants we've been to. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Next time we're back in Falmouth or the surrounds we'll be ringing up well in advance to book in for the first week as well as the second.
