My wife and I have just stayed again at this impressive B&B. We have become more decerning over the years and would absolutely guarantee a fab experience. The minute you walk into the lovely hall you feel welcome and at home. A new addition shortly to open will be the family suite. We took a look and again completed to an impressive standard. You will find it hard to find a better arrangement to meet your family needs with 2 separate bedrooms with a superb shower room in between, all contained in its own wing. Food, attention to detail, cleaniness and welcome second to none. Being parents of a uni student we would also really recommend when visiting....just a short walk. What are you waiting for.

Excellent host, Awesome standard of accomodation. More like a Boutique hotel than B&B. Could not fault Sixteen at all!

This is a little gem - nice and central, within walking distance of the town, pubs, restaurents and beaches. Decor is immaculate, beautiful and to a high standard, the rooms are on the back and are very peaceful, extremely comfortable, warm and welcoming. The breakfasts are fantastic, all fresh produce, nothing too much trouble and to be greeted by fresh home made cake on our return from our days out , was a lovely touch, Sharon is the perfect hostess!! We'll be staying again without a doubt.... Highly recommended!!

Wonderful period house and garden with rooms to a very high standard made this feel value for money all round. We were made very welcome by the owners. Very nice touches such as home made cake and sherry in the evening added to the friendliness of the place. Breakfast is really tasty with fresh eggs from the hens in the garden and locally sourced food for the rest. Free parking and a simple 5 minute walk into town made the location ideal for us. Walking the other way from the hotel is a lovely 15 minute walk to a secluded beach past a nature reserve "Swanpool" that gave us a wonderful start to the day before breakfast. We will definitely be staying there again as we will be visiting Falmouth quite a lot over the next three years.

Spent three nights here, as a base for visiting relatives and touring. Room was lovely (better than many hotel rooms) - house has been very tastefully decorated. Bed was very comfortable with good quality bed linen. Owner is very sweet and makes delicious cake for her guests each day. Breakfast was excellent - piping hot and very tastey. It takes ten minutes to walk into Falmouth (return is uphill but not too difficult). Parking in drive at B & B is not so easy but it is possible to park in road outside. A good base for exploring other parts of Cornwall.

We stayed here for one night during a trip to Cornwall.

We'd stayed in a Hotel/B&B in St Ives for a few days and this was our last night before heading back home.

We found sixteen easily on the main road into Falmouth and from the moment we were greeted to the moment we left we felt looked after and welcomed.

Sharon's attention to detail was fantastic. Lanterns at the door lit in the evening, a pristine clean room, views into the garden and a Cornish cream tea (with optional sherry if you could fit it in!).

The attention and help wasn't overbearing at all and Sharon has a real desire in ensuring people enjoy their stay, have a good nights sleep, are refuelled with a good breakfast and if they need any help she is more than willing to do so.

The rooms are incredibly clean and spacious and we're delighted we stayed here rather than a faceless, large hotel chain that had faded from its best years.

We'd definitely stay there again and would recommend anyone else to do so if they are visiting Falmouth.

If you are looking for the perfect B&B then this one would be amongst the top rated. It was so good that we cancelled a short stay in Poole, which was to follow and stayed additional nights. Small but significant touches empthaise Sharon's genuine desire to ensure her guests have the best possible experience. From candle lit lanterns guiding you to the front door at night to hand tied ribbons on cloth serviettes and homemade cake and sherry, all added to perhaps our best ever B&B experience. Once word gets out you will have to join the queue for bookings at this little gem.
