I had a lovely few days in Chester staying at this guest house. I made the booking online which seemed easy and safe. My single room was a little on the small site but it was absolutely adequate for my needs. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.
The best points for me are the guest house's is central and it is certainly good value for money. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Really nothing special, but location. Not a five or four star hotel by any means. Accommodation is overpriced even after discount of 20.00 pounds from hotels.com. Owners are not very friendly at all. Rooms are clean but outdated and tiny. Breakfast ( full English) is small and repetitive. Will not return unless not able to find something better.

Quiet location but only a 5 minute walk to the river and just a little futher to the main shops. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and breakfasts provided by the friendly owners were excellent. This is the best guest house we've stayed at and will definitely visit again.

Had tried to book 3 nights in the centre of Chester, but now glad we couldn't as I'm sure we saw a lot more of the city. Excellent shops and pub/restaurants within 100 yards and only a short scenic walk over a historic bridge into the centre of the city. Accommodation excellent and very good value for money. Also very quiet weekend nights which I'm sure the the centre of the city wouldn't have been!

Nothing wrong with the accomodation, just nothing special.
Big draw is the fact that it is very close to the city centre.

Our very spacious family room accommodated the four of us very comfortably. Room had good amenities, nice touches and was excellent value compared to the others we stayed at during our trip. Convenient walking distance to Chester town centre. Generous breakfast. Lovely, helpful host.
