We were 5 on a weekend Christmas shopping trip to Chester and the location of this cottage was perfect.
It sleeps 4 but Rod, the owner, was happy for us to sleep one on the sofa. It is in the middle of town, minutes from coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and shops but it is located in a lovely quiet courtyard. Ideal location. The cottage is well appointed and we had essentials such as milk, tea, coffee and a bottle of prosecco waiting for us. We will definitely be returning to explore the lovely town further.
An excellent little property located in a great spot for shopping, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Lots of little extras (Prosecco, fruit, milk, fudge, toiletries) all very much appreciated. We had a great weekend and intend to book this lovely property again...
Second year of staying at this accommodation and again not disappointed. Lovely accommodation, another welcome pack on arrival and Rod the owner always responds to enquiries promptly. Highly recommended.
Well equipped with excellent facilities including great wifi and quality beds and pillows. Walking distance to all central attractions, pubs and restaurants.
Third visit and still fab. Cottage clean and well equipped. Extra touches such as milk, coffee, fruit and especially the Prosecco are most welcome. What really makes a difference is that Rod is so prompt answering enquiries both before and during our visits. Chester is a beautiful city and staying within the walls in such a quiet, comfy cottage is just perfect.
We had an amazing 2 nights in Gamul place. The cottage was cosy and well presented with everything we needed for our stay. Rod communicated with us promptly both before and during our stay. The extra touches such as the prosecco and fresh fruit were really appreciated. The location couldn't be better, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Chester. We always managed to park right outside Gamul place - but just remember to put the appropriate parking permits in your car to cover how long you are outside for, we had no issues with parking wardens but understand they will soon pounce if you go over the permit time. All in all - a fantastic few days and would definitely return
