Description: With a relaxed Parisian style atmosphere La Brasserie is the perfect place for a coffee, a cocktail or a leisurely meal. The black leather sofas, sleek granite tabletops and hand-painted glass skylight all add to the feeling of French sophistication, and the Josper grill produces food superior both in taste and quality.

Went with a friend on Monday evening, we began with a relaxing drink before our reserved time and then were leisurely seated at our table.

Each of the three courses were beautifully presented and matched in taste. Delicate and just the right size, neither heavy nor over whelming.

Varied wine menu with enough choice and an array of after dinner coffees and drinks.

The service is attentive and friendly, never over bearing. The atmosphere and décor are equally lovely.

Having visited the Grosvenor brasserie on more than one occasion, i hoped i was in for the usual excellent service and first class food for my birthday treat. I was not disapponited as the high standards this restaraunt has shown in the past seem to get even higher! We where greeted like old friends and quickly shown to a table for drinks. The oppulence of the surroundings immeadietly puts you in a better frame of mind and the openess of the room is ideal for people watching. Having selected our food we where shown to our table and the procession of culinary delights began. I had the oysters to start, followed by the "BOVINE TASTING" which consisted of three different steaks cooked pink. It was an absolute delight. The service was excellent and a special mention to Natasha who conducted her team with skill and grace. There are other restaraunts in Chester who claim to be the best but the Grosvenor brasserie is "class amongst pretenders.

My girlfriend and I went for lunch over the weekend and had an excellent meal. La Brasserie isn’t immediately obvious from the outside, but is well worth looking for. The restaurant is a pleasant place to be, with an art deco Parisian style to the décor and a friendly yet professional attitude to the service. We had the a la carte menu and just had a starter and main, both of which were excellent. Unusually they offer almost all wines by the glass, carafe and bottle, allowing you to sample the full list and not just the usual limited selection. Although it wasn’t cheap (£110), it was very hard to fault and we will certainly be returning.

Loved the quiet calming atmosphere (not for the lively). It was very nice but, pricey - only for special occasion(s).
