Old traditional style pub. A warm welcome from friendly helpful barstaff, a good choice of drinks all at fairly reasonable prices. Great atmosphere inside and very interesting decor a good mix of locals and tourists made for a very pleasant visit.

My wife and I visited this quaint pub on a Saturday afternoon a warm welcome from staff and a proper fire to make it snug on a cold day food was excellent hot and a good variety I had a barbecue chicken on ciabatta which was gorgeous and the wife had a posh fish sandwich also gorgeous a pint of shandy and a pot of tea for one (3cups) and it came to a very reasonable £22.00
