We ate hear last night, simply the best food I have eaten for a very long time. The food was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. The staff were very attentive and gave good advise on the available dishes. I would recommend that everyone eats hear soon before everyone discovers it and you can't get a table.

Simply stunning!!

Lovely lunch.....well worth a visit. Beautifully cooked food, would recommend the 'tatties' very yummy! Salads were tasty too. Reasonably priced menu, pleasant atmosphere and attentive and friendly staff. I particularly liked seeing the chefs cooking the food.

I have now visited this restaurant three times and have had lovely meals on all occasions. The food is presented beautifully and is served hot, however I was somewhat disappointed by the limited menu choice. It is a very small menu, but you should be able to find something on there to suit you.
The waitress was friendly, but I she could have done with some help as she was the only person working on all the occasions I have visited and appeared very rushed trying to serve everyone, in what has always been an extremely busy restaurant.
The food tastes very nice and you can tell it is fresh.

This restaurant is a 'hidden gem' as described by previous reviews. It is a wonderfully authentic addition to the Chester foodie scene, and caters to the tastes of the masses. The menu changes regularly, including a range of fresh ingredients every time. The prices are reasonable for the absolutely fantastic quality of food and combinations of flavours.

The ambience is just right. The location is hidden away down an alley by the Cathedral, and it is a small space, but perfect for an intimate meal and to feel like you are the sole focus of the staff's attention. The staff are friendly, and attentive. The cocktails are absolutely delicious and inventive.

The restaurant is a holistic project, incorporating good quality food, innovative recipes and food presentation, in a beautiful and well thought out space. I look forward to my next visit and the surprises the menu (and chefs) have in store...

Very imaginative food combinations great relaxed service it's always a pleasure. We had the lamb as starter perfectly cooked kidney & liver or guinea fowl terrine. With rabbit to follow in a great 'broth' of various veg's or chicken and stilton. At times you wonder if the combinations work, don't worry they do.
It's worth booking as it is small.
