Celebrated our friends 50th here. Had a great evening with excellent food and wine at good value.
But what stands out is the service.
By 9 the place was near full.

“Authentic French experience”
Reviewed May 1, 2014 via mobile

Eaten here twice since it opened - both times the welcome, food and wine have been excellent and all good value.
Definitely a must for locals and visitors alike.

“Authentic french dining”

An absolute gem of a find. Totally unpretentious genuine French dining experience. The food was excellent as was the service. I would highly recommend La P'tite France to anyone looking for an authentic French meal.

“Bienvenue !”
Reviewed April 26, 2014

A big welcome to this new, no-frills/unpretentious but excellent authentic French bistro/restaurant that will replace and better, I hope, Francs/Bouchon which always had mixed reviews before closure. Open for plat de jour at lunch and 5-7pm (as I asked ) so great for after work meal at a good price before a la carte night. Very mixed age group when had lunch today who the French staff were equally attentive to. Nice choice of wines at very reasonable prices and wish I'd had the stamina for a huge bowl of lovely mussels that I spotted ( the smell was gorgeous) on another table . Choice of beef, salmon and vegetarian omelette today for lunch special and guess they will be trying other dishes when they judge feedback .

So if you love France and the food there, bon appetit !

Me and my wife had the lunch menu. Lovely food, attentive friendly service from owner. Excellent experience and value for money. A little bit of France in Chester. And a loyalty card too!
