“Another Good Premier Inn”
Reviewed February 22, 2014 via mobile

Stayed for three nights this half term. First night we were troubled by an inconsiderate family stomping around in the room above us until 3:00am! Only the wife had a poor night's sleep but when we mentioned it with a view to change room the receptionist refunded our fee for the night, which wasn't expected but a nice touch. The next night the stompers were at it again but managed to keep quiet after 10:00pm so no problem.

The room was standard Premier Inn and ideal for our family of four, very clean with everything you need.

Only ate breakfast in the adjacent Brewers Fayre which was fine but we've had better when staying at other Premier Inn's.The hot stuff was all fine but the continental was lacking. No meat or cheese which is generally the norm these days. The lovely waiting staff more than made up for it though.

The location was perfect for Chester, Cheshire. Oaks, Chester Zoo and the aquarium. Thoroughly recommend the zoo by the way, the best we've ever been to.

This was our first visit to a Premier Inn and we were not disappointed. The room was large, clean and did not feel like hundreds of others had been there before us. All the staff in the hotel and the pub next door were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The pub was good value if you ordered before 6.30 as it was 2 for £10. It was very busy due to Half Term so I would recommend booking to get ordered in time for this deal. The food was fine, and the curry buffet was excellent. Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold. The kids were made to feel very welcome and there was a large soft play area in the pub for the younger ones. All in all a great value family break and I hope other Premier inn stays match up to this.

We stayed here last week this was our 3 visit to this hotel, the last one being 2 years ago.
The lady on reception, - Mary. remembered us, which was very nice, Fast check in no delay. Dinner was booked for us at the restaurant next door. This is a very nice and well run hotel.

Arrived at tea time after a heavy day shopping at nearby Cheshire Oaks. The hotel car park was full and my first thoughts were oh heck it might be noisy. On checking in the young lady on the desk was extremely friendly and reminded us of the good night sleep policy, she gave our youngest party colouring pencils and pictures and offered to book is in at the Brewers Fayre situated next door of we hadn't already eaten. We were then directed to our room on he first floor through a security door. Our room was warm, cozy with a sofa bed and a separate single bed for the children and a large double. Tea and coffee facilities are provided and a choice of pillows. The room was spotless and clean along with the bathroom and the beds comfy. It states rooms are insulated and lives up to this, when in our room a heard absolutely nothing despite other families on the same floor. Breakfast is provided to the brewers fayre next door. We were greeted by a friendly face who kindly told us of the set up. The hot breakfast was hot with sausage bacon eggs beans mushrooms hash browns scrambled omelettes if you wanted along with cereals, a choice of yoghurts unlimited costa tea and coffee and preserves with toast. Overall our stay was faultless and better than some 4 star hotels I've stayed in. Excellent location as well I will definitely return.

My partner & I spent Valentines night here and it was a very nice hotel in a good location with a pub next door. We went into Chester for a meal in the evening and got back at about 10pm. My sleep was interrupted several times between 11pm and 3am because of the person above us stomping around the room occasionally. The beds are fairly high and I had to just drop a couple of inches to reach the floor because i am quite short. However, the room was very nice apart from the disturbed sleep, and fair play, when we mentioned iot in the morning they refunded our room cost, so that was a nice gesture. Would definitely stay there again, but maybe not on the ground floor.
We paid for breakfast and had it in the adjoining pub. That was ok and there was plenty of choice. The staff in the hotel and the pub were extremely efficient and attentive.

Very good staff, very friendly and efficient, the facilities were very good, however, do NOT stay in room 70. It is adjacent to the main stairwell from the lobby and was very noisy all night from people going up and down stairs. My wife and I got hardly any sleep. Otherwise, it would have been excellent.

Room Tip: Do NOT stay in room 70. It is adjacent to the main stairwell from the lobby and was very noisy all n...
