Situated in a quiet village close to the medieval city of Chester, this updated terraced cottage lacks for nothing in amenities. Parking is right outside, the kitchen is to die for, and there's a modern extension housing a large, well-lit, dining area. Patio and pretty garden to the rear, with a grassed area ideal for children to play. After a week here we didn't want to leave. If, in the future, we need accommodation near Chester this cottage would be top of our list. Thanks to Jenny and Chris, the owners, who did everything to make us welcome.
Throughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage furnished to a very high standard with a lovely woodburner for cold nights. Highly recommend for couples and families with its huge garden and close to Chester to explore. We Would definitely stay again
A beautiful cottage full of character with everything you need for a short or long term stay.
Log fire, oak beams, sandstone walls and very lovingly renovated adding some lovely new rooms.
The hosts are excellent and extremely accomodating, nothing is too much trouble, very welcoming and friendly.
The village of Ashton Heyes is a gem, quiet and quaint with a village shop/post office, handy for trips to Chester.
Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when staying in Cheshire.
Stayed at Inglenook Cottage from Nov 26-29. This is the perfect home from home for exploring Chester and the surrounding area. A delightful cottage in a delightful quiet setting approximately 8miles from Chester. The cottage has all you need for a short break or longer stay with well equipped kitchen, and well presented bathroom. Although we did not get chance to use it because of the time of year, the cottage has a very spacious garden which looks a nice relaxing space for a summer evening.

Inglenook cottage is everything it claims to be. We used most of the facilities. It was all in very good order. The community shop is conveniently close and surprisingly well stocked; we felt we were making a small contribution to the village by using it throughout the week.
It was easy to travel in any direction and to avoid the potentially congested junctions. There are any number of good eating places nearby, including a very good pub which you can walk to (opposite Mouldsworth Station). We greatly enjoyed our stay.
