“friendly staff and amazing desert!”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

We got 3 courses for £15 because we got there before 7pm. I had the chicken and chorizo skewer followed by the mushroom risotto. This was delicious but the real treat was the desert - the hanging marshmallow and strawberry kebab with dipping chocolate and ice cream. Amazing! The staff were very friendly and efficient and the restaurant had a quirky old theatre theme to it which we liked. There is outside decking if you would rather eat outside.

“Atmosphere and warm welcome.”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

Good experience and we visited on Tuesday and received half price tapas.
Looked after by Matt and enjoyed a nice bottle of red and good food . Ate in the rear garden and it really did feel like a Casa in Spain .
Finished off with a Latte and the bill for two was £30 .
I would like to visit in the evening .
There was care taken with the food presentation and all the tapas arrived together ,freshly prepared and full of authentic flavour.

“Great food and wonderful service”
Reviewed August 4, 2014 via mobile

We visited this restaurant last night on a brief stopover in Chester. After being taken ill the day before I had strict instructions as to what food I could and couldn't eat. There was nothing on the menu that fit my dietary requirements, but the waitress asked the chef if he could adapt one of the dishes and he was very happy to. It was delivered quickly and was delicious. Wonderful service, lovely food, highly recommended.

“Blue Bell Chester”
Reviewed July 28, 2014

This is a copy of the mail I sent personally to the Blue Bell in Chester

Dear sirs,

My wife and I came to the Blue Bell last night for supper, we would like to say the meal was a culinary delight.

We had the Frittas Bravas (fried potatoes in tomato sauce), Chicken & chorizo skewers & garlic bread to start, that in itself was lovely but nothing, and I mean nothing could prepare us for the main course.

We both ordered 9 hour cooked Argentinian beef ribs with creamy mash, and a red cabbage sweetened to perfection & a jus, I have to say there are not enough superlatives in the English dictionary to describe this meal.

It was a pleasure to eat it, both myself & wife loved it thank you for a great meal, and great service.

“lovely tapas”
Reviewed July 24, 2014 via mobile

Came here for a romantic meal and it did not disappoint. We had 5 tapas and all were really tasty and hot.
The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. They even allowed us to sit outside which was an added bonus.
They also.sold Manou which is authentic Spanish lager and really good.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing and romantic night out.
