Church is a new Chester venue located in the City Centre with plenty of parking near by. It feels like a great young peoples bar although I am 60 and the decor and lay out really appealed. There is a great outside terrace which gives it quite a continental feel. My wife and I visited for Sunday lunch and were asked to choose a table (of which there were plenty available). Our order was taken at our table and drinks brought to us. Staff were very friendly. I ordered the roast beef which was described as served pink which was encouraging. Unfortunately, the beef was not pink as it appeared to have been kept warm, arriving at two thirty probably did not help. Roast potatoes were over cooked possibly suffering the same treatment. A reasonable wine selection and very reasonably priced. Oh, I forget to mention the starter which would have been unfair as my goats cheese tart with onion marmalade was really very good.
