“Great little gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2014

We called for lunch yesterday and had an excellent experince . We were made vey welcome and asked it we would like to be seated by the radiator as it was very nippy outside -- a nice gesture!
The menu was very good as well and although we resisted the scones they did look " to die for " .
I thoroughtly enjoyed my halloumi, beetroot and carrot relish panini , and the white rabbitt looked very tasty too.
We shall certainly eat there again as I found it to be exactly my cup of tea Well done !!

“Lovely tea rooms”

Had Afternoon Tea which was fantastic, everything nicely presented and tasted really good. We couldn't eat it all so they give you a doggy bag!! Would definitely visit again.

food was heavenly if a little pricey. tea choice and flavour was great. Quaint atmosphere and lucky to get a table as this place is always busy!

“Friendly staff and tasty food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2014 via mobile

I visited for the first time today with my 2 year old and 10 month old for lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful, getting 2 high chairs and making sure my son had small cutlery for his lunch. We all enjoyed our food and my coffee and cupcake were delicious. As the place got busier and my children were getting ready to leave and noisy, we did feel a bit uncomfortable as we were surrounded by people wanting a peaceful lunch (this was nothing to do with the staff though, they were lovely). All in all, would definitely recommend Mad Hatters, but would suggest anyone with children goes at less busy times.
