Yes it doesn't look that welcoming from the outside but very well keep beers, always something new to try and friendly knowledgeable staff.

Great that it now has sky sports and not many seem to know so it doesn't get over crowded.

Homemade bar snacks and free bacon but ties on Sundays are added bonus

Great selection of real ales and world beers, both bottled and on draft. Unfortunately, the only thing that lets this busy nightspot down is the slow service and ignorant bar staff.

We had an enjoyable few hours here on a Saturday in early January listening to live music from the house musician. There was a nice atmosphere and it seemed quite friendly there. However, we did think the wine was rather over-priced - £7.10 for two small glasses and it was not even properly chilled so that could have been better.

Opposite the premier inn, average prices the best thing about the cellar bar was how polite and helpful the barman was
