We decided to call in for food in a group of 6 of us. The bar area is very clean and tidy with friendly staff who will do their best to help you if you have a dietary requirement. Great choice of beers and the food Is plentiful with a varied menu unlike other new grills within the locality. The food was hot and cooked to perfection and nothing seemed to much trouble for the staff whatever was asked for. You seriously have to give this place a try with its superb canal side location you won't be disappointed.

I asked for a vodka and lemonade, the lemonade was flat as a pancake. I asked for a vodka and coke instead - to be told that their was no coke / pepsi available. There was no apology / regret from the staff. We were even charged for the drink - which tasted awful!! Not friendly. Felt all they wanted was the "big" drinkers spending lots of money. We were a large group - many of us unhappy with the service offered and we moved on. Drinks were also very expensive. I definitely would not recommend.

Lovely situation by the canal towpath.

Good selection of beers and wines but not cheap.

Food on the other hand was excellent value and well cooked and well presented.

A good meeting point.
