A great museum with lots to see. The amazing collection of Roman remains are a draw enough without all of the other collections.

This is a lovely little museum. Well laid out with varied exhibits. No entry charge but requests for donations - please give generously to keep this open. The history of Chester is well explained with particular reference to silverware; Chester used to have its own Assay Office. Being small, this museum will not take up too much of your time but don't just use it to get out of the rain. It is worth a visit no matter the weather.

The park has a beautiful location near the rive and whilst it's currently undergoing a massive amount of work you can see it's going to be stunning! A lovely place to spend the afternoon.

If you're visiting chester and have time this is a fascinating place to visit.
Its not big but contains interesting artefacts especially from the Roman period.
Good for children too and with free entry its a great place to go if the weather is poor., well done!
The staff on the day we visited were smart, polite and informative
