Appart from a compulsory few hundred meters on a main road to get there it is perfect.

Lots of good cycling nearby. Somewhere to store your bike. No need to lock your bike as there is always someone with a more expensive bike that is likely to get robbed first :-)

Good cafe food and service.

The Eureka Cyclists Cafe is one of a kind. It has served the cyclists of Wirral, Cheshire and further afield for nearly one hundred years. It enjoys a very accessibe location in Two Mills for cyclists from Wirral/Cheshire and is a great spot to plan a route or recover from a day's pedalling over a proper mug of tea.
Ann and her team are always helpful, friendly and polite in serving the many cyclists who descend there especially at weekends. The food is of the good, wholesome variety and the service is always quick. Particularly good are the home baking treats ranging from Rocky Roads to Fruit Cake to even Themed Yellow Jersey cakes to celebrate a certain Tour de France win this year.
An added bonus is the selection of cycling products that are available which means that the ill-prepared or unlucky cyclist is able to top up on spare tubes, energy drinks or just borrow the track pump.
So in summary it is a real treasure and long may it continue to thrive.

The Eureka is a great place to call in for a drink or a snack, Ann the owner and everyone of the staff always greet you with a smile and a cheerful word ( normally a comment about the chance of you staying dry onyour days ride).
The drinks and snacks are all good value and what other cafe will sell you a Banana, inner tube and lend you a pump to blow up your tyres.
There is a chance you might bump into such cycling legends as Chris Boardman, Andy Wilkinson or Steve Cummings.
If you turn up "on spec" as I did the first time around 9.30 Ann will introduce you to one of the many clubs that meet there and you will be able to try riding with them to see if it is the club for you.

80 + years of cyclists stopping here can't be wrong. One of the very few cafes left that is dedicated to cyclists and their needs, both sustenance & mechanical. My dad was still cycling here aged 85 and he's now 102, so they must have fed him OK. They are not open at the beginning of the week, but you cant move here at 10:00 on a Weds morning. Check first for opening times on a weekday
