At first glance this might not be the swankiest of hotels (and from the outside I was rather concerned what I'd been booked into!) - but inside the hotel is very modern, clean and rather delightful. Excellent value for money, with some of the most keen to help, personable and friendly staff I've met in recent months at a budget hotel.
The rooms were nice very clean, although perhaps in need of some refurbishment - a few fixtures needed re-doing, but there's a report card to let the hotel know about these that is well worth filling in. I should add, staff were happy to provide extra allergen-free pillows when we asked too. My Wife and I are split on the comfort of the bed - I found it very comfortable and had a great night's sleep, she found it not supportive enough and too squeaky to sleep well.
Breakfast choices were excellent, high quality and plentiful - excellent value for money that other hotel chains (Premier Inn, Travelodge etc) should hang their heads in shame over! There's also a restaurant and 24hr room service (!), although we didn't use these.
Finally, the location, close to the Wales Express way (A55) and the road into Chester itself couldn't be easier to find, or travel on from!
