Called in here for lunch with a friend. The sandwich selection is great and served beautifully with turnip crisps and a lovely side salad. The service was friendly and relaxed. It was my friends first time eating here and he was very impressed.

Today was our first visit and it was a real treat! Delicious food, properly cooked, high quality and individually prepared. It was well presented and an ideal quantity.
The ambience is super and it's lovely to be somewhere original.
Waitress Jenna gave us a great welcome and was very attentive.
To score... We'll be back!

Dropped in on the way home from Wales to Manchester craving a Sunday Roast, rang up at 6.45 and they managed to fit us in arrived at 7 to a warm welcome, ordered Aberdeen Angus beef roast, which arrived hot, beautifully presented, and lots of it, red cabbage to die for! We had to share a dessert as we were stuffed from the roast, sticky chocolate cake and rum and raisin ice cream yum! Excellent value for money! Overall a great experience, would not hesitate to recommend or return!

Was here over the bank holiday weekend and its still as impressive as my first visit. Had the rabbit stuffed with toulouse sausage... what an amazing meal! Cooked to perfection and i really can't fault the food here. The service is great too and i really like the outdoor seating area along the canal.

if you're after good food, relaxing atmosphere...it is well worth the visit.
