I went to the Laugh Inn for my birthday and it was a really enjoyable, quite cheap night out. The tickets were reasonably priced, as was the bar and food.
We did find that there wasn't enough room for people to wait before the show. But we were not waiting long until we were shown through into the bigger room. We had a really good night and won free tickets and so returned again.
I have since looked at visiting the Laugh Inn again but the prices have shot up. What used to be a casual night out with mates, is now an expensive one. I wanted to see a well known act (Sarah Millican) and twice the Laugh Inn have made people go to one day the week before-other wise you can't buy tickets to see Sarah Millican. The tickets for these nights are not too expensive, but i dont want to have to go to a night i dont want to go to in order to see an act I do want to see. Basically doubling the price to see Sarah Millican. Lots of well known acts do smaller gigs before big tours etc, but i've not seen anywhere else do this. It makes the place feel like they are money grabbing. Very disappointing after we enjoyed our first night there so much.
