This wonderful cathedral has an amazing history being the remnant of a very early Monastery. The whole building is wonderful with a fantastic mixture of Norman architecture, 17thy century windows, ancient wood carving and some of the most stunning modern stained glass windows I have ever seen. The staff are lovely and welcoming, and we were lucky enough to hear the organ being played. A tranquil place in a busy city.
