Went on 27th Feb and it was really quiet, hardly anyone in and only a couple of school parties which was great as you could walk around the park freely and could see all the animals really well. It is a huge zoo so when you go make sure you wear really comfy shoes as you will be doing a lot of walking. There is a monorail that goes all the way round the park so it is advisable to jump on so you can see where the animals are that you want to see, the only disadvantage is that you have to get off half way round (£2.00 each) so that other people can get on to travel back to the entrance of the park. It would have been nice to stay on for a full circuit as it was so quiet and pay £3.00 for example for a full circuit. We had to then get off and have a little wander until the next monorail arrived. We had a lovely day and saw all of the animals and have got some lovely pictures, all the animals were healthy and very relaxed aroud the public. I would not hesitate to recommend chester Zoo for a day out, it was fabulous.
