I have been dining here for a number of years now and have never had a bad meal or experience. The food is plentiful and tasty while the staff are well trained.

My wife and I stayed at the Pheasant for 1 night to celebrate her birthday. Second time we have managed to stay here. Firstly, let me say how great the staff are. What lovely polite and cheerful young people.
We stayed in a standard room (the Cholmondley) that had smashing views across the countryside. The room was on the small side but adequate enough for a short stay. We ate in the bar area at night and found the menu to be very good, even though they had run out of one of the specials that I was looking forward to. We have walked this area many times and it is extremely well situated for the Sandstone Trail. We will certainly visit again.

I spent a lovely saturday night at the Pheasant Inn recently after a stressful few weeks at work left me worn out. The Tatton Suite is the prettiest room I have ever stayed in. The meal was lovely - local ice-cream well worth treating yourself too! Thoroughly enjoyable stay and will definitely be back. The staff were great.

Having visited the Pheasant several times in the last few years I again visited with my partner and stepson. I have always loved this place, the location, food and service have always been good but tonight, it seemed to be that little bit better. We had a very pleasant meal, with a perfectly cooked steak and two delicious burgers. A bit too full to have a sweet each but shared an ice cream and then coffee and liquers. Good service, nice staff, will return.
Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat in the Chester area

I visited the Pheasant recently on a Saturday evening, and left looking forward to my next visit.....the pub is well tucked away, however is well worth the scenic drive.....it is a stereotypical, picture perfect Cheshire pub........both the bar area and the restaurant were full, which was surprising considering this place is so far off the beaten track.....the menu is modern British, with a great choice of both meat and fish dishes....the service was friendly, the atmosphere very cosy....this place is great for couples, a group of friends, or family alike......

My wife and I were very pleased to see the Pheasant Inn on the horizon as we biked up the very steep hill approaching it! We stopped for a well deserved pint and a cheeky chocolate brownie (between us!) Which was beautiful! Really nice pub with open fires and good atmosphere. Was shocked how busy it was saying it was in the middle of no where and on a Monday lunch time, must be doing something right! All in all a very nice place to go to.
