We were in Chester early Sunday morning and called in Carluccio's for breakfast. We found the staff to be extremely polite and well trained. The menu was varied and offered authentic Italian food. ( The fact that it was a breakfast menu was an added bonus ). There was also an excellent deli for off sales. We will make a point of having a meal here when we are in Chester again. A very enjoyable experience.

Went to Chester for a day out, went to Bella Italia but they were fully booked so ended up in Carluccio's. Me and my son had Lasagne, and were both ill till the following morning.
To be fair to the restaurant, they sent us a voucher as a gesture of goodwill saying they had found nothing out of place, but unfortunately after the experience I will not be ''spending'' it.

I have been here a few times now it never disappoints the staff are some of the best in the business attentive and professional but not pushy .The coffee is great as are the cakes and treats .The fish stew on the menu at around £14.00 was very disappointing with not much fish in but prawns were plenty unfortunately mussels were large shelled but rather sickly meat content very small and shrivelled . The anti pasta was brilliant as was the service coffee and desserts .

I have been just for coffee and breakfast and can recommend the eggs benedict

also lunch menu is extensive and normally nearly always good whatever you choose (with the exception of the fish stew )

great spot nice environment will return again and again .

We dropped in for lunch at about 3pm having tried some other places nearby to get lunch, but they had a 40min-1hr wait.

We were told there was a 20min wait. We looked around the little shop and leafed through some receipe books, and time just ticked away!

The shared antipasti starter boards are great. There is a veggie one too which is the one we had.

Our waiter was friendly, and happily brought more ice for our drinks when asked.

Main courses were good to.

toilets were clean, but they are up several lifts of stairs. There is 1 disabled toilet on the ground floor.

Good food and quick and helpful service. shop sells lovely cakes!

We will come back!
