Visited Zugers today for the first time in eighteen months. Nothing had changed from our last visit.
Nothing wrong with the food or drink, but the waiting on staff are exceedingly poor.
We arrived 45 minutes prior to closing. Only 4 tables were occupied and there were 3 waitresses on duty.
We waited and waited at the "Please wait here to to be seated" sign only to be ignored, so took matters into our own hands and sat at a vacant table. I had to call a waitress over to take our order.
Two sets of foreign tourists came in after us and got similar treatment with one waitress yelling out that as it was four o'clock they would only serve up coffee and cakes. (the cafe closes at 4.30 on a Sunday). That may be the case but screeching across other customers is hardly the way to convey the fact.
The waitresses, rather than take the orders from the two tables decided that it would be preferable to complain about the customers to each other rather than serve them.
We certainly won't be back any time soon.
