Description: Pacino's was established in 1986 and has built up a reputation with the local people and visitors alike for the finest cuisine and affordable wine list that can be found anywhere in the city of Chester. Since its launch the restaurant has tippled in size, now with over 80 covers. Pacino's has however maintained its high levels of quality and service. Pacino's offers an intimate atmosphere and a friendly personal service that can only be found in a family run business. Perhaps that's why we are often referred to as "Chester's Hidden Gem". Gluten free available on request.

We actually went to eat at The Oaklands, Chester. However, there were so many tables reserved just for drinkers to see a singer that was on that night we left. Lost revenue there then.

So glad we did, we had ben told about Pacinos last week, not realising you needed to book on a Saturday night we turned up. They were so welcoming and informed us it was not a a problem and even though they were full, we could dine there tonight.

So glad we did, the meal was amazing. Of course, we waited a short while after our starters, nevertheless, once it arrived we knew it had not been a microwave job and lovely and freshly cooked.

The bill was a pleasant surprise also and the lovely staff also.

Tonight was our first visit and will not be our last.

This restaurant sits in the shadow of Chester's high rise flats. It's off the main dual carriage way 'Hoole Way' into Chester and surrounded by Council and 'value' terraced housing. You'd never think that when you step through the door you were entering a well established restaurant serving fantastic quality Italian food. The service is by experienced staff who know the food and are relaxed but competent. If you like really good food and don't feel you have to pay a fortune to appreciate great flavours, go to Pacino's.

Having booked this restaurant, prior to our visit to Chester, we were a little worried when we went to find this restaurant before our visit in the evening. It is a little of the beaten track and has shutters up during the day - only open at night! However, when we arrived in the evening what a lovely surprise. Once inside made up feel like we were on holiday, the warmth, ambience, family running it and the food and drink were exceptional. A real find.

This is my place to go in Chester. Friendly, unpretentious, great food and service. Would be easier to find on Trip Advisor if the name was spelt correctly. Give Pacino's a try.

As many reviews say, this does not look like a good restaurant from outside. It is much better inside, although tables can be a little cramped. It is popular and you can see why. This food is good wholesome home cooking - very nice pate, a lovely sauce with the pork I had. The service was fine, but no better than that, and a couple of dishes were certainly better than others. House wine was fine. Certainly a pleasant evening and good food, but I wouldn't drive miles for it.
