5 mins easy walk from the train station and on the way into the city centre (just over 5 mins) so a very convenient location. After a painfully slow check in as the systems were down, the room was typical Premier Inn. It was half term so there were a lot of children and some were unsupervised on the first night and being very noisy until 11pm, there was a slight hum from the bar below (I was on the first floor) and I could hear the traffic until about midnight (I was at the front of the building). I ate in the restaurant on the first night and the service was friendly and efficient - food average but served exactly as I asked. It was much quieter the next night (Friday ironically). Room cleaning was late in the day - after 3.30pm which surprised me. But saying all this - it was good value for money - you get what you pay for so I can't really complain.
