Description: Located within the elegant Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa five minutes from Chester's city centre, Ciro's Brasserie has a sophisticated and unique Romanesque interior and a modern Mediterranean menu. Popular for weddings, birthdays and corporate events, Ciro's Brasserie is open for both lunch and dinner, and also boasts a coffee and cocktail bar overlooking a picturesque courtyard. The dining room is decorated with stucco paintwork, murals, skylights and Latin archways, and has a light and airy ambience. Favourite dishes include the scallop, tiger prawn and salmon tagliatelle with coriander and sweet chilli oil; roast suckling pig with cabbage, bacon, baked apple and fine beans; and the delicious glazed vanilla creme brulee served with soft berries for pudding.

Went for the first time for a celebration. Chose it as it also had a cocktail bar. Wasn't really what I expected just a seating/waiting area next to restaurant but was ok. The lighting is low and the ambience very nice and tasteful decor. One minor issue, the menu font is so small and the lighting so low the staff have torches to help you to read so you can choose your meal!! Quite bizarre. However the food was lovely and the staff were great. If they sort the silly menu issue out it would have been almost perfect.

Myself and my husband dined in the restaurant whilst staying at the hotel. The food was delicious and the service from the staff was great. I would recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again in the future.

We ate in Ciro's to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The service was amazing, all the staff being very attentive but not intrusive. The menu caters for all tastes. The food was very well presented and delicious, cooked to perfection. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely and it made our anniversary celebration feel very special. I would recommend Ciro's to everyone, please visit if you are in the area.

We ate here on Friday night at 9.30pm and as we approached we were a little apprehensive at the noise levels as there was obviously a large birthday celebration going on. we were seated away from that and then enjoyed the atmosphere rather than worry about the raucous laughter. Staff were lovely, attentive, yet not overbearing, efficient and polite. we both had the mussels then I had a special of fish/ seafood which was cooked to perfection and was served with a salad and buttered new potatoes, delicious! My husband chose the rump steak which he said was " nothing special" but he enjoyed the blue cheese sauce and the accompaniments...and the steak was cooked as he had requested so he was happy. We had a complimentary bottle of wine in our hotel stay and I was worried it may be too dry but I was able to sample the wine and we had the option to choose a different one and pay the extra which We felt was reasonable. ( the initial wine was fine by the way!). We were too full for dessert so unable to comment on that. I cannot compliment the staff enough here, we were last customers and we felt under no pressure at all to leave. Service was great and food was good.

We stayed at the attached hotel and we had a discount voucher for the Restaurant.

The decor is a bit Disney and with the slight disappointment with the hotel room we were not expecting the best.

Service was good and the food arrived very well presented and great consistent throughout the 3 courses.

Would go again if we were in that area.
