I have visited this pub restaurant on two occasions. The first I had fabulous food, great tasting, good size portions, value for money and very tasty. The second time was earlier this week during Jersey Tennerfest. The place was mobbed and hence service slow and staff seemed under terrific pressure. The Tennerfest menu was value food, and the food was just okay, (minute steak etc) but nowhere near as good as a normal night, with normal menu. It is a family orientated pub with really great staff and I will go again (and again) but not during Tennerfest. Sometimes cheap is just that, best to go for a pub that does their normal food within Tennerfest menu rather than something cheaper to produce, and there is lots around that do just that.

Excellent value menu for tennerfest but felt a bit like a production line. Staff were friendly but looked harried. lovely food but give the cheese platter a miss. I have never seen such tiny pieces of cheese, the butter portion was bigger!

We went to the farm house for a birthday celebration, we chose here because of the children's play area which they didn't tell us was closed to be repainted! We came during the tennerfest and the food was lovely and The manageress was really nice but the service was awful!! We waited for absolutely ages between courses and in the end left before our dessert as it was nearly half past nine and we had been there since seven and we had two young children with us. Hopefully they'll employ more staff so there's not such a long wait. All that aside the food when it arrived was lovely.

A rare treat...

Ahuh! A real tennerfest for a tenner...

Pleasant, smiling waitresses who coped well with a relatively fullhouse for lunch. John was most impressed with their warmth plus ability to maintain a smiling profile...

Good value for money...

However, the ambience was a tad drab, a wee bit cold...

I would highly recommend
