Came highly recommended, and was even more pleasantly suprised, the food was top notch and the service was great with some friendly banter thrown in! Good atmosphere! Friendly and laid back! Will go back again and recommend!

Lunch at Gloria's Food on Fridays is Fish and Chips only!!
Chef Anna's huge plateful of freshly cooked Cod and Chips served with jalapeno tartare sauce would be hard to beat anywhere in the world. Delightful place to catch up with the locals - always a sure sign that the food will be good. Didn't need to eat again for the rest of the day. Free wifi was a bonus.

Our third visit to this small restaurant tucked away off Victoria Street and yet again memorable for the variety and quality of food. The welcome from the staff was warm and efficient. The menu is amazingly varied for a small establishment........ The tagine as mentioned by other reviewers was mouth wateringly tasty. The yoghurt to go with it made the meat melt in your mouth. other good choices were the steak and for pudding the white chocolate cheese-cake.
The establishment was full by 1930 hours. Proof of its popularity with locals and visitors alike.
Gloria the owner and chef is unassuming and lets her able staff get on with the front of house part but full marks for this gem of a restaurant. It thoroughly deserves it's number 1 ranking on Trip Advisor.
We will return sooner rather than later.

Definitely the nicest Restaurant in Alderney. Would recommend the tagine and any of the Tapas dishes. As good as we have had anywhere and the fact you are able to BYO wine is great. We will miss this little restaurant.

Can highly recommend this little restaurant. We have eaten there several times in the last couple of months during our trips to Alderney. On each occasion the food was delicious, some really unusual specials which were truly mouth watering. Always full when we have been and a lovely ambience but it does sometimes get a little noisy later in the evening. We will be back
