Although we live in Ely, my fiance and I visited Peacocks Tea Room yesterday afternoon for the first time after a walk along the river. We were warmly welcomed and it felt as though I had walked into my grandmother's living room. We had a lovely view seat by the window and ordered tea and scones and for a little treat, a glass of Pimms. I really can't find anything to complain about, apart from the fact that I can't go there everyday!
