We've eaten in the 'new' Swan on the River a couple of times now, and popped in for the odd drink. We've lived just down the road in the village for c. 7 years, and have seen this place 1. dirty and empty 2. closed 3. refurbed and empty and now 4. loved and busy. So all I would say is good luck guys!
Last time we ate here was for my birthday in December 2012, staff were great with young daughter, food was good and service excellent.
I drive past the Swan every day, and it's great to see lunchtimes with people in, but even better to see full car park at weekends, it feels like the village has a good breath of life in it for people who want good food.
