There were 8 of us that went here one Saturday evening. We had made reservations because it is a small restaurant that can sit around 25 people. It was around 80% full while we were there but there was only one server. He was trying but it was beyond him to be able to keep up.

It took a long time to order and a long time to get the food. However when the food did arrive it was lovely. Everyone enjoyed the food just a shame the service really let it down. This could be a great addition to Cambridge if they can ever work out the service issues. Because of this I just can't in good conscious recommend this place despite the lovely food.

We fancied something a little different, and the signage looked nice although it wasn't very busy, so we thought we'd try it. First impressions were not good. 3 tables taken, but no one looked happy, the empty tables were dirty and there was no one there to serve. We sat down at the only clean table, which had not been laid, and waited. Eventually a lady came to take our order. First we ordered drinks. We waited for 10 minutes, no drinks... she then came to take our food order. She went, returned 10 minutes later to say that there could be a very long wait. We asked how long, she said she didn't know. I suggested an hour. She said, "could be"... now, I suppose we could have waited for an hour, in an empty restaurant, but she basically invited us to leave, which we duly did. This is unquestionably the worst dining experience ever. 2 staff... come on owner, hire more people or sack these 2 and start again.

Absolutely pathetic, I won't ever try it again, nor will my friends, and I hope no one who reads this. A shame, as I can't think of another Sri Lankan restaurant, but this was far beyond a joke.

We went to the Curry Garden close by and had a lovely meal there, so go there instead!

The service was so horrible that we didn't even bother eating there. The middle aged female staff was so rude in getting us a seat that we walked away. They have to seriously have a look at how they treat their customers.

My partner and I come here frequently, on average more than one per week.

The food is excellent and very authentic. It takes time because it is freshly made, unlike your typical curry house. Ceylon Cinnamon also do an excellent value lunch for ten pounds.

The photos in the window are not representative of the food: apparently they are there to clarify that it is a restaurant, as furniture stores are nearby. Do not expect fast food. The food is slow, but delicious!

We very much enjoy coming here.

I used to support this restaurant despite disorganised and slow service, as it was a young business and regional Indian cooking is hard to come by in Cambridge. But now I have really snapped. The last interaction was distressing as they were irresponsible, discourteous and unprofessional over a takeaway order on the telephone. I was told they would ring me to tell me when the food was ready - the person I spoke to clearly couldn't be bothered to even speak to me properly on the phone. I waited for a whole hour, and then rang them. No answer. left a message saying I would have to cancel my order if it was much later, but I would wait for them to call me and update me. No call. No food. No apology. The last but one time they gave me too little of a dish and said they didn't have enough left but they thought the left-over would be enough for one person. This, combined with the fact that I have on occasions had to wait for 1.5-2 hours for the food to emerge, and emerge cold, has pushed me over the edge of patience. When they have 3 tables full, they turn customers away because they are 'too busy'. It is a great shame, as some of their food is nice, and I had high hoped of them. They have now had long enough in the saddle to put their act together. I fear this is another restaurant that will go sooner rather than later.
