“Comfortable stay”
Reviewed February 15, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

The Barn was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed tea in the living room looking outwards onto the garden. It has everything you need in a property.
Having a car is advisable as you can explore the surrounding areas easily.
Hamerton zoo park is only 20 minutes away and was great.
Thank you Claire and family for a beautiful weekend.

“Prefect cosy home from home”
Reviewed February 17, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

At last a place to stay which is as it says on the website. All the information provided is up today and location instructions by car are ideal. The booking process is clear and the contact from Claire is very helpful. The parking is ideal for of loading in the rain and dark as it was when I arrived. A warm welcome with the heating on and milk in the fridge. The en-suite shower kicks out lots of hot water from a proper shower head, my greatest hate is a busted old shower head........I stayed for 8 nights, I was out all day training with BMW nr Royston, cooking in the evening in the well equipped kitchen. The internet and tv reception is good.
Will be going back as I have to do more training.
Well done Claire keep up the good work.

Me and my girlfriend spent the weekend at the White barn! We had a lovely stay and the cottage was beautiful! Nice and close for accessing Cambridge with the park and ride only up the a14.

We're really glad this went well. Access to Cambridge is nice and easy, and park and ride saves on the horrors of parking in the centre.

“Perfect for Cambridge & Ely”
Reviewed January 23, 2015 for a stay in October 2014

We stayed here in October 2014 for 3 nights. Everything you need for a quiet stay that is close to Cambridge & Ely. Wifi included. The weather had just turned cold so needed the heating, which wouldn't work to start with but the owner soon put that right.

Although the very friendly owner lives next door, we were left to ourselves.

My partner left his camera but we were able to pick it up when we returned home from the second part of our journey.

“Excellent stay”
Reviewed December 3, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

This was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting our many relatives in the area and attending a wedding. It is welcoming, well equipped and very comfortable. Well positioned between the A14 and A428 for access to the area. A great find - will definitely be back!

“Great stay, cozy place...”
Reviewed November 20, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We were paasing through the Cambridge area on our month long trip to UK. Hilton was just enough out of the city to be handy - yet quiet. Clare was a wonderful hostess, made sure we had everything we needed. A little hard to find initially but well worth the effort. We had a pleasant stay and would definitely visit The White Barn again!

Thanks very much, we're really glad you had such a comfortable stay, and sorry that the White Barn was a little difficult to find. We do send out directions, but will endeavour to add a map in future. The Barn is opposite the Methodist Chapel, so is usually easy to spot.

“A lovely quiet, well equiped comfortable place to relax in and enjoy.”
Reviewed August 22, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

The White barn is a lovely comfortable apartment with every thing you require for a short or extended stay. I stayed for just over two weeks and found it an ideal base to tour the surrounding countryside from. It is also within easy reach of Cambridge and Bedford for the big shopping trips, and a multitude of smaller towns and villages with lots of history, are nearby.
The host Claire is very charming and is more than helpful when required, otherwise you are left in peace.

I'm really glad your stay went so well. The Barn is really well situated for touring the area, and there's now the Guided Bus for getting into Cambridge quickly and easily, as well as the very efficient Park and Ride. There are multi story car parks in Cambridge so you can drive in if you want to, but these are really good options for avoiding traffic and parking so that you can have as long as you want looking round the city.
