Nice little street with some interesting local shops - especially places like Seoul Plaza (Japanese & Korean food) and El Amin. The traffic is pretty heavy and also lots of people (and bikes) on the pavement. Main drawback is that many shops are now takaeaway places, so it has become quite tacky.

I like Mill Road. It has a vibrant mix of shops, pubs and restaurants. Something for everyone. The stores and restaurants are predominantly independent so worth supporting.

My favourites are relevant records cafe and the amnesty bookshop

Mill road isn't as great as it thinks it is.the pavements are cracked and uneven.many a person including myself have fallen over because of this.
What really spoils it is the ever increasing drug users and alcoholics, fake and genuine homeless and aggressive beggars that hang around the cash points.there is one chap in particular who begs near the Co op cashpoint and I know he has a flat near me.

This is a really buzzing place and it's great for an authentic touch of what Lebanese food is like. It's not licensed but that shouldn't be a problem as the food tastes fine with soft drinks or water.

I’m a huge fan of Mill Road and still believe it to be one of the greatly underrated areas of Cambridge. On top of the variety of unique shops dotted up and down the street (either side of the bridge too) the side streets such as Gwydir Street, Covent Garden and Tenison Road offer a plethora of pubs, all with their own individual selling points and each promoting something different. The Earl of Beaconsfield, The Alex, The Cambridge Blue, The Six Bells are just some of many pubs which can be discovered along Mill Road, and if you play it right, you can create a really good pub run. One of Mill Road’s major positive’s is its ability to surprise you and you can continue to uncover places and things to do which you never knew existed before. So good.
