Visited this pub as we wished to hear the live band that was playing so decided to book a table and eat here too. On arrival the pub was very busy (Thurs eve) so we were glad we had a table reserved. We ordered our food and it then took half an hour for the starters to arrive which were incorrect! Tomato soup had been ordered and mushroom soup arrived. We were then told that tomato soup was not available! Another half an hour passed before our main courses arrived - by this time we had been in the pub over an hour!! One of our party decided to order a dessert only to find that after yet another long wait he had to ask the waiter where his order was - it arrived shortly afterwards but had clearly been forgotten! On going to the bar to order drinks items being advertised for Christmas on the tables were not available and staff clearly didn't realise that the advertising was incorrect. The one saving grace was that the "Freddie Hall" band we had gone to see were excellent. The atmosphere was fun due to the music. A good place to go for a drink but don't bother with the food!!
