This is the kind of place you queue for 30 minutes at in New York or San Francisco: seriously, the best in Cambridge...

It isn't the cheapest but I can barely drink coffee anywhere else in Cambridge now...

Great Ciabatta's too.

As a Kiwi in Cambridge, I despaired of getting good coffee until Massaro's opened. They take their coffee very seriously and it definitely shows in the quality of every cup. It is also reassuring to see their enthusiasm extends to ethically sourced and very tasty food. You may pay slightly more, but you definitely notice the difference. I'm sold on the place and I'd highly recommend it to anyone else who wants the best in coffee.

Wonderful coffee here at Massaro's - the latte macchiato comes highly recommended, as do the sfogliatelle. But if you're eating lunch, you might want to look elsewhere - at £6.95 to eat in, their sandwiches are the most expensive in the hood!

This is the only place in central Cambridge with coffee comparable to the good Antipodean places in London (Milkbar, Flat White, etc). Folk who know what that means will find all their favourites here: flat whites, long blacks, piccolo lattes, and probably a couple they've never heard of, all made by an owner barista who starts with good coffee, keeps his machine clean, and never scalds the milk. It is much much better than the popular place down the road, and the home-made cakes and food are delicious, too. Highly recommended.

I had a hot chocolate here with a friend recently. We both had babies with us and we found a little booth tucked away at the back. It was a nice atmosphere and we enjoyed the drink. The seating was a little bit hard but other than that a lovely place. There are stools at the front where you can watch the world go by.
