The tour ticket is very overpriced. Once inside there's very little to see once your tour the chapel. There very little in the way of information. The kings tour has much more to offer.

This magnificent college which had its 500 year anniversary in 2011 is well worth a visit. Walking through the courts you will feel like you are going back in time. The architecture is amazing and the Bridge of Sighs by far surpasses the original in Venice. The chapel is beautiful an on occasions services are broadcast on the BBC radio.
I have had the good fortune to be invited to eat in the 400 year old formal hall on several occasions, the head of catering holds a Michelin star and the food is superb.

Having to pay an entrance fee led to expectations of a much better visit than this was. Apart from the kiosk there were no "staff" to talk with, and the whole thing was a bit sterile. The worst problem was that the "bridge" was out of bounds, as were the cloisters. Frankly, this is what we went to see.
Upon returning to the kiosk we were told "you could have gone in anyway". Then why close it?

I was lucky enough to be married here almost 10 years ago so it holds very special memories for me. A stunning chapel and college grounds. I recently visited the Great Hall for a chamber of commerce Christmas lunch which was exceptional.
